Welcome!
Hey there, I’m Maddie, the massage therapist behind Peace in Bloom Therapeutic Massage. I wanted to kick off this blog by sharing a little bit about me.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2021 and completed my therapeutic massage training through Ivy Tech Community College in 2025. Since then, I’ve continued building on that education with training in trauma-informed yoga, manual lymphatic drainage, Japanese facial massage, and buccal massage.
In my practice, I work with many different concerns, but two areas I care deeply about are trauma-informed bodywork and relief for TMJ dysfunction. I’m especially interested in the connection between stress, the nervous system, and the chronic tension that shows up in places like the pelvis, abdomen, jaw, neck, and face.
This blog is a place where I’ll share education about TMJ pain, muscle tension, recovery, and ways to support your body between sessions. My goal is to make you feel confident in caring for yourself at home in between massage sessions.
A few personal things about me: I’m a Virgo, I’m from Indiana, and I have two cats that I’m completely obsessed with.
I am so excited to share my knowledge here. I hope that I can help bring you some relief.
Thank you for being here!
